Workshop making Kimchi

Kimchi is the national dish of Korea and is super healthy. The well-known vegetable mixture is fermented. During fermentation, micro organisms convert raw products into products that are easier to digest. This technique is probably as old as humanity itself, but we have become estranged from it in the past century due to the advent of the refrigerator. Now, as more knowledge emerges about the importance of healthy intestines for our overall health, fermentation is gaining attention again.

During this workshop, you will learn more about the benefits of fermentation and its relationship with our health. But, of course, we will also get hands-on in making our own kimchi. At the end of the workshop, it truly begins: your own dose of good micro organisms will start working to create a healthy jar of vegetables for you.
