Why do we take our cars for an annual MOT, go to the dentist for regular check-ups and keep an eye on our phone battery, but don’t pay attention to how our own motor is running and how our battery remains charged?

 

We live in a hectic world. How do you recharge? During a vitality session, you can talk to a vitality coach about resilience, balance and self-care!

 

What is vitality?
Vitality is a bit like our personal battery. When the battery is full, you are full of energy and revitalized. You feel as though you could take on the world. Batteries go flat when energy is consumed or when energy escapes. And yours is no different. So we have to recharge our energy sources regularly. How do you use your energy? What gives you energy? And what really drains you?

 

In an informal session, you will talk to the vitality coach about the four elements of vitality, which are all interconnected (physical, emotional, social and meaningful).
 

 

 

What’s in it for you?
When you feel revitalized, you have a lot of energy. Not only do you feel great, but those around also benefit from it. Vibrant people radiate energy. What this means is that:

  • You feel energetic, fit and strong
  • You have the energy to do all the things that are important to you
  • You are healthy and are sick less often

All staff members of the University of Groningen can book a vitality session free of charge.
